Plans and limits
What each useClick plan includes, what counts toward its limits, and what happens when you reach them.

useClick has five plans: Free, Starter, Growth, Pro and Business. This page lists what each includes, how usage is counted, how long data is kept, and what happens when you hit a limit. You can see your current plan and usage under Settings, Plan and billing.

Yearly billing costs the same as ten months of monthly billing.

Longer date ranges in analytics also depend on the plan: 90 days to 12 months from Starter, 24 months from Growth, and "All" from Pro, always within your retention window.
What counts toward your limits
Links
- The link limit is the total number of short links in your account, not a monthly allowance.
- Every short link counts, including buttons you add to a bio page with Paste URL (each creates a short link) and links created through bulk upload or the API.
- Deleting a link frees up its place.
- In a team workspace, all links count toward the owner's plan.
Clicks per month
- Clicks on all your short links count, including clicks from detected bots.
- Page views recorded by website analytics use the same monthly allowance.
- The count resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC.
- Plan and billing shows Links and Clicks this month against your plan. The clicks bar counts link clicks only.
What happens when you reach a limit

Not the same as a link's click limit: the click limit feature stops one link after a number of clicks you choose. The monthly clicks figure above is your account's analytics allowance and never stops links.
Free plan specifics
- Preview page: Free links on the useClick domain can show visitors a short preview page before redirecting, unless the destination is on useClick's list of trusted or verified domains. Links on your own custom domain, and links on paid plans, redirect directly.
- Website analytics trial: one website for 14 days. After that, visits are no longer recorded until you upgrade.
- Bio pages show a small useClick badge.
- Destination changes: a Free link's destination cannot be edited after the link is created.
Data retention
- Each plan keeps click and page view data for its retention window: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Starter, 24 months on Growth and 3 years on Pro and Business.
- A daily job deletes click and page view records older than the window. Your links, bio pages and websites themselves are not deleted.
- Reports only ever show data inside your window, whatever range you pick.
- The site report shows your window in its header, for example "data kept 12 months on Starter".
- On Free, you receive an email reminder before your data starts reaching the 30-day limit.
Need older data? Export link clicks as CSV (Starter and above) or pull them through the REST API before they leave the window.
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel
Upgrade or change plan
- Open Settings, Plan and billing.
- Click Upgrade (on Free) or Change plan, pick a plan and billing cycle on the pricing page, and complete checkout.
Higher limits apply once the new plan is active. If you use the API, create a new API key afterwards: a key keeps the rate limit it was created with.
Cancel
- Open Plan and billing and click Manage subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription, then Yes, cancel.
You keep full access until the end of the current billing period. Then the account moves to Free. Resubscribe is available until then.
After moving to a smaller plan
- Nothing you created is deleted, but you cannot create more links, pages, sites or domains than the new plan allows.
- Features the new plan does not include are no longer available for editing.
- The shorter retention window applies, so older click and page view data can be deleted by the daily job.
- On Free, website analytics stops recording new visits.
