UseClick Website Analytics is a separate, cookie-free tracking script for your whole site, not just your short links. Add it once and every page view, visitor, and traffic source shows up in your dashboard.
Until your site records its first page view, UseClick shows a guided setup card instead of an empty dashboard, so you always know exactly what to do next.
It runs on the same privacy-first pipeline as UseClick's link analytics: no IP storage, no full user-agent strings, and no cookies.
Live in Two Minutes
Adding a website starts with a short setup flow, not a blank dashboard. UseClick walks you through it step by step and confirms the moment data starts arriving.
Copy the snippet
Copy the analytics.js snippet from your dashboard and paste it into your site.
Check now
Click "Check now" to poll for your first page view, or send the instructions straight to a developer by email.
Per-platform instructions are built in for:
HTML
WordPress
Shopify
Webflow
Next.js
The moment your first page view arrives, a banner announces it with the visitor's country and browser, so you know setup worked without digging through an empty chart.
See Traffic at a Glance
A compact stats bar covers the numbers that matter for the selected period, each with a percent-change arrow against the immediately preceding period of equal length.
Page Views
Unique Visitors
Views/Visitor
Bounce Rate
Avg. Visit Duration
Traffic Over Time
An area chart plots page views across the selected range with automatic hour, day, or month bucketing. The date-range picker offers plan-gated presets up to 24 months, clamped to what your plan's data retention actually allows, alongside quick stats for peak, average, and active buckets.
Know Where Your Visitors Are
Geography is available as a 2D map, an interactive 3D globe, and ranked lists, so you can pick the view that fits how you like to read data.
2D World Map
A choropleth map of countries by view volume, with hover tooltips and click-to-filter that jumps straight into the Countries tab.
Interactive 3D Globe
A WebGL globe with country click-to-filter, a magnitude legend, and live pings for recent page views, expandable into a larger view with an activity feed and a top-25 country list.
Countries, Regions & Cities
Ranked, click-to-filter lists with proportional magnitude bars and a details view for the full list beyond the top rows shown inline.
Know Your Audience
Browser, OS, device, language, and even non-human traffic are broken down separately, each one click-to-filter.
Browser & OS
Per-item logos covering dozens of named browsers and operating systems, with click-to-filter and a full-list view.
Device Type
Desktop, mobile, and tablet split out with per-item icons and click-to-filter.
Language
40+ visitor languages shown with flag icons, click-to-filter included.
Bot & AI-Crawler Traffic
Non-human hits are categorized into AI Answer Engines, Search/Indexing crawlers, AI Training crawlers, and a catch-all Other Bot group, each with totals and share of total traffic.
Know What's Working
Traffic sources, channels, and campaigns get their own tabbed card, alongside a ranked view of your best-performing pages.
Sources, Channels & Campaigns
Sources shows referrer domains with brand icons for 20+ social and search platforms. Channels groups traffic into Direct, Organic Search, Referral, and Campaign (same-domain referrers fold into Direct). Campaigns groups hits by UTM campaign, source, medium, term, and content.
Top Pages
The top 20 pathnames by views, with unique-view counts side by side and click-to-filter by path.
Understand Patterns Over Time
Beyond the main chart, three timezone-aware views show when your traffic actually happens.
Day of Week
A bar chart of traffic by day of the week.
Hour by Weekday
A 7x24 heatmap with hover tooltips, colored by intensity.
Monthly Trend
A longer-range view of traffic month over month.
Filter Anything, Everywhere
Click any row, whether it's a country, browser, OS, device, language, pathname, or bot category, and the filter applies to every chart and breakdown at once. Active filters show as removable chips with a Clear All action.
From Visits to Conversions
For sites that need to connect traffic to outcomes, UseClick adds visit journeys, goals, funnels, and full attribution on top of the core analytics.
User Journeys
A flow diagram of the first two to five pages of each visit, plus a ranked list of top paths. 30-minute sessions, reloads collapsed, bots excluded, and long-tail paths grouped as "(other)".
Conversion Goals
Create custom-event, pageview-match, or revenue goals per website, toggle them active or paused, and see total versus attributed conversions.
Funnels
Build named, multi-step funnels of page or goal-event steps and see per-step session drop-off for 7, 30, or 90-day windows.
Attribution
A Clicks -> Visits -> Conversions flow with click-to-visit and visit-to-conversion rates, attributed revenue, a per-goal breakdown, and a top-converting-links table.
Journeys, Goals, Funnels, and Attribution are available on Growth, Pro, and Business. Free and Starter plans see a locked preview card in their place.
Share Your Numbers
Live Visitors Widget
An opt-in "X people viewing now" pill you embed on your own site, in light or dark theme. It's a separate live.js snippet backed by a live presence count; the core analytics.js script alone doesn't report this.
Public Stats & Embeddable Globe
Turn on public stats for a website to get a read-only, shareable stats link, plus a copyable iframe embed for a standalone 3D traffic globe (always shown with a "Powered by UseClick.io" badge).
Privacy-First by Design
Website Analytics runs on the same privacy-first pipeline described across UseClick: data minimization by default, not bolted on afterward.
No Cookies
Visitors are counted without cookies or local-storage identifiers, so there's no consent banner to build or maintain.
No IP Storage
IP addresses are never stored. Location is derived and kept at country level only.
Retention-Aware by Plan
How far back your data goes is set by your plan's retention window and enforced server-side, regardless of what range is requested.
What we collect
- Page URL visited
- Referrer source and UTM parameters
- Country (derived, never stored as IP)
- Device type, browser, and OS (parsed, not the raw user-agent string)
- Browser language preference
What we never collect
- IP addresses
- City or region-level location
- Full user-agent strings
- Cookies or cross-site tracking identifiers
This is the same data-collection approach used across UseClick's link analytics.
Dashboard Close-Ups
A closer look at a few details that make the dashboard fast to work in day to day.
Retention-Aware Date Range
Date-range presets go up to 24 months, but the picker only ever offers what your plan's data retention actually covers, and the server enforces the same limit regardless of what range is requested.
Click-to-Filter Everywhere
Countries, browsers, devices, languages, pathnames, and bot categories are all clickable. Active filters show as removable chips with a Clear All action.
Sources vs. Channels vs. Campaigns
Three views of the same traffic: raw referrer domains, grouped channels, and UTM campaign groupings, so you can zoom in or out as needed.
Hour-by-Weekday Heatmap
A 7x24 grid, colored by traffic intensity, shows exactly when your audience is active, timezone-aware.
First-Pageview Detection
New sites see a two-step setup card instead of an empty dashboard, and a banner confirms the moment the first real visitor arrives.
Public Stats Link
Turn on public stats for any website to get a shareable, read-only link and an embeddable 3D globe for your own site.
